Gaston Marcotti
Gaston Marcotti is a senior visual effects supervisor and digital compositing artist with over 25 years of experience in computer graphics, color grading, and post-production across film, advertising, gaming, and large-scale installations. In 2015, he founded Bizaroid, a Paris-based posthouse specializing in high-end VFX, luxury visual production, and virtual production. Under his direction, Bizaroid has collaborated with Chanel, LVMH, and other global brands, pioneering AI-driven visual workflows and real-time 3D production.
Bizaroid’s portfolio includes acclaimed films such as Un prophète (Cannes Grand Prix & César 2010), Pacification (Cannes 2023), L’homme qui a vu l’ours qui a vu l’homme (Cannes 2025), and Silent Friend (Venice 2025). A pioneer in virtual production, Gaston also founded BigSun in 2018, the first software platform dedicated to virtual production workflows. With cross-continental experience in Europe, North America, and Asia, he is recognized for his precision and multicultural vision in shaping contemporary cinematic aesthetics.
