FESTIVAL AMBASSADOR 2026
Ali Fikry is a young Indonesian actor who began his career at the age of five and has now appeared in approximately 20 feature films. Born on March 7, 2008, he is known for various works, including Waktu Maghrib, 24 Jam Bersama Gaspar, The Shadow Strays, and Esok Tanpa Ibu (Mothernet), which had its world premiere at the 2025 Busan International Film Festival. He has also collaborated with several Indonesian directors, including Sidharta Tata, Hanung Bramantyo, Timo Tjahjanto, and Yosep Anggi Noen. In 2026, Ali was appointed Festival Ambassador of Jakarta Film Week with the theme ENCOUNTERS, representing a young talent who continues to grow and broaden the younger generation’s encounters with cinema.
