As someone who has long been passionate about the world of cinema, this opportunity is incredibly special to me. This year, with the theme "Resonance," I believe that film is not just entertainment, but also a medium with the power to resonate and influence how we perceive the world.
Through Jakarta Film Week 2024, I hope this festival can become a platform to introduce more high-quality works from various countries, while also demonstrating that film can be a space for discussion and reflection. I also wish to encourage the development of film festivals in Indonesia to become more global, serving as a place where local and international filmmakers can share their work and inspiration.
