Sébastien Chesneau
In 2014, Sébastien founded Cercamon, a Dubai-based global film sales company with a catalog of over 50 feature-length films, all selected for prestigious A-festivals and receiving numerous prizes. He has since continued to grow the company's portfolio, and in early 2022, Cercamon expanded into documentaries. Before starting Cercamon, Sébastien spent 15 years in international distribution at companies such as Celluloid Dreams and France Televisions, where he was responsible for worldwide sales of numerous prestigious international films that premiered at major film festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Sundance, Venice, and Toronto. He has collaborated with an array of filmmakers, such as the Dardenne Brothers, Xavier Dolan, Jacques Audiard, Julie Delpy, Michael Haneke, Todd Haynes, Kore-Eda Hirokasu, Jafar Panahi, Todd Solondz, and François Ozon. Sébastien holds a Master's Degree in International Economics from Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris, France.
