Makbul Mubarak is a film director and screenwriter. He made five short films before embarking on his feature debut Autobiography, premiered at Venice Film Festival 2022 and subsequently selected as the Indonesia's submission to the Academy Awards 2023.

Dương Diệu Linh is a Vietnamese writer-director known for her whimsical blend of magical realism, comedy, and body horror. Her feature debut Don't Cry, Butterfly won the iWONDERFULL Grand Prix and the Most Innovative Film Award at Venice Critics' Week 2024. Her career has been supported by notable international screenwriting labs and talent workshops, including Less Is More, Oxbelly, Berlinale Talents, Asian Film Academy, and Locarno Summer Academy.

A filmmaker working across Asia. His debut Passage of Life (2017) won two awards in the Asian Future section at Tokyo IFF. His second film Along the Sea (2020) premiered at San Sebastián IFF, and received the Oshima Prize and the Shindo Kaneto Gold Prize. His latest film, Lost Land (2025), a drama centered on Rohingya refugees, won the Special Jury Prize in the Orizzonti section at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.
