Surisniyati Mulyandari, known as Pia, and her husband Adul are former mental health patients now living together at the Galuh Foundation rehabilitation center in Bekasi. They face each day with struggle, hope, and love, despite the stigma and stereotypes still attached to them by society. Pia has come to accept her fate as a former patient. Now, together with her husband, she fights for a better life amid the harsh judgments and prejudices that remain.
Rifqi Asha Prawira (Cimahi, 2002) is a Film and Television student at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. He made his debut as a director and editor with the film Romansa Di Balik Pagar Akal. Currently, Asha is active in short film distribution and research for his next documentary. He is also involved in film festival organization in Indonesia, having served as Parallel Public Program Director and Person in Charge of Open Air Cinema at the Bandung International Student Film Festival (BISFF) 2023. Additionally, Asha works as a curator, moderator, and program conceptualist for the West Java Film Appreciation (AFJB) through the West Java Film Forum (FFJB) community.
