Three boys are given a simple task, it is to call a childhood friend who has long drifted away from their lives. From the voice that greets them on the other end of the line, memories, emotions, and the meaning of friendship slowly resurface.
Al Ridwan is a filmmaker from Makassar, Indonesia. His introduction to cinema came through pirated DVDs commonly sold in markets and shops. He is currently studying Film and Television at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta, focusing on production, screenwriting, and film music composition. During his studies, Al has produced two short films, The Boy Who Dreamed of Lightning and Kontapati, and directed his first documentary, Are We Still Friends?.
