In a post-apocalyptic world, Guruh, a prospector for the Bank Besi, is scouring the Banten Coast when he is ambushed by Sayyid Ilyas, a former nobleman on the run from crushing debt. Forced to escort Ilyas and his servant, Anna, to a smuggler’s dock, Guruh now finds his life at the mercy of bounty hunters prowling the land under the Bank Besi’s orders.
Rafael Marius (Jakarta, 2001) is a final-year Arts Management student at ISI Yogyakarta. He is actively involved in film production and management through organizations such as Mondiblanc Film Workshop and the Jogja-Asian Netpac Film Festival. Rafael’s interests lie in spatial politics and film criticism, which shape his engagement in cultural work.
