PUR (36) and EKO (40) are migrants who work as foggers. One time they committed fraud by spreading mosquito larvae on the order of BAMBANG (47) who was the head of the neighborhood. While working, Pur was informed that his child’s health was getting worse back in the village and needed money immediately. The next day, the announcement of Bambang’s death was heard, Pur was worried about his unpaid wages. His previous wage was taken by Eko. Pur finally planned to steal the money from Eko and took it home for his child. Upon arriving at his village, Pur heard the sound of his wife crying.
Djarot Prasetyo Rahardjo is a student at the Jakarta Arts Institute, Faculty of Film and Television. He was born in Magetan, 13 September 2003. Djarot is a young filmmaker who has various short film works. He has been actively involved in the world of film in his country since he was still in high school in the Magetan area, Indonesia.
