“Ngaraksa Sasaka Pusaka Buana” tells the story of the struggle of Abah Widi and indigenous communities in protecting nature and preserving traditions which are an important part of their identity. They believe that nature is not only a source of life, but also a legacy that must be preserved so that it can be enjoyed by their grandchildren in the future. In the process, they not only help nature restore itself, but also inspire many people about the importance of protecting nature and respecting the environment for the survival of humans and the universe.
Albert Assadeva Azizi, an Arts graduate from ISBI Bandung majoring in Television and Film, was determined from the start to focus on directing and writing. Even though when he entered college he had no experience in the world of film, he had strong research skills. This advantage made him increasingly interested in creating cultural-themed documentaries, which over time became one of the fields he was most passionate about. SAFARAN and NGARAKSA SASAKA PUSAKA BUANA are his best documentary works.
