Tirja (29/M) teeters on the brink of despair after the business he inherited from his late father has crumbled. Meanwhile, his sister Marni (23/F) constantly berates him, viewing him as a burden on the family. As the first anniversary of their father’s death approaches, Tirja attempts to prove his worth by fishing in the river where he used to find solace from family troubles. However, the river harbors a deeper secret than he anticipated, and he frequently encounters a mysterious old man who presents him with an unexpected path forward.
Born in Bogor, Indonesia on May 29, 1995. His interest in art was the beginning of his foray into the world of audio-visual media. He started working in the field of cinematography in 2013 by forming the Bale Films community and making his first short film in 2014.
