Elham Ehsas, born in Kabul, is a BAFTA-nominated writer and director in Film & TV. His debut short Our Kind of Love (2019) was BAFTA long-listed, screened globally, and viewed over 3.6M times on YouTube. His second short Yellow (2024) was BAFTA-nominated and Academy Award–shortlisted. He is developing a feature with John Collee and adapting Our Kind of Love into a feature. He has been commissioned by Bad Wolf Productions for a refugee anthology series and by Synchronicity Pictures to adapt Boy With Two Hearts. As an actor, he debuted in The Kite Runner and has appeared in War Machine, Young Wallander, Homeland, Shantaram, Little America, and stage play The Jungle.
