SAM, a renowned performance artist and proud flower person, prepares for their final act – a transformative declaration of their identity. Spending the day before the performance with their mother, who struggles to accept Sam’s chosen path, tensions rise until a heart-to-heart brings understanding.
Ariel Victor Arthanto is an Indonesian animator, illustrator, and writer currently based in Berlin. He holds a Bachelor of Art in Animation from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Fine Arts in Animation from the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. His short films have won several awards and been showcased at festivals worldwide. His latest film produced as MFA graduation project is titled "I AM A FLOWER".
