1970, Argentina under military dictatorship. A guerrilla warfare militant is captured by government authorities. After being tortured, he attempts to escape his fatal destiny using a salami sandwich.
Clarisa Lea Place is a screenwriter and director specialized in animation, graphic narrative and story development. In 2021, her short story “Los escucho” was published and awarded in the VII Concurso Relato Breve Osvaldo Soriano. It was later adapted into a comic. In 2022, she wrote the comic “A 50 años de Trelew” as an homage to the Trelew Massacre where her aunt was assasinated. In 2024, she finished her graphic novel “Aliens” which was awarded by Premio Estímulo a la Escritura (Fundación PROA) and Fondo Nacional de las Artes. Her animation short “El sanguche de salame” premiered internationally in 2025 and has circulated over 20 festivals worldwide, gaining honorable mentions for its art direction. She is currently working on her animation series, “Aliens”, that was recently selected as a work in progress in Animadeba festival in Spain.
