Mr. Ham decides to have his heart removed in order to be relieved of his complicated feelings. The doctor assures him that this is no longer a problem at all in this day and age. However, Ham keeps his heart for a while after the removal in order to perhaps understand it better after all. Tako Tsubo* is an animated, surrealistic reflection on dealing with feelings in a meritocracy.
Eva Pedroza (*1982 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin. She studied at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires and at Berlin University of the Arts. Her works consists of drawings, ceramics, paintings and animations.
Fanny Sorgo, born in 1993 in Austria, is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vienna and Berlin. She studied Scenic Writing and Narrative Film at the University of Arts Berlin and successfully completed both courses in 2018. As a playwright and performer she has been invited to numerous theater festivals throughout Europe in recent years and wrote, among others, for the German Opera Berlin.
