Dahlia Nemlich is an award-winning French-Lebanese director and producer, currently based in Beirut. In 2020, Dahlia directed Roadblock, her first short fiction film produced by Marine Vaillant of Dewberries Films, written by Pascale Seigneurie and starring renowned actor Julian Farhat. The film was shot during the Lebanese Revolution and won the FIFOG d’argent and the Khayrallah Prize in 2022. Dahlia won the Golden Yusr at the 3rd edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival for her second short film, Somewhere in Between, produced by Dewberries, Berooted and Chaos Film, distributed by Manifest and CMS, winning the Best Short Film award. She is currently developing her first feature film, Assa, a fish in a bowl, selected for the LIM residency (Le Groupe Ouest) in 2022 as well as for LabMed (Meditalent), Torino Boost it Lab and CineGouna Platform in 2023
