Kwong, on the brink of transitioning from primary to secondary school, organizes a farewell football match with his classmates. However their plans are thwarted by unexpected obstacles in finding a suitable venue – construction sites, an elderlies dance club, and a group of territorial teenagers occupy their usual spots. Their search leads them to a group of South Asian boys playing cricket who reluctantly share their space
TO Chun-him is a Hong Kong filmmaker. In 2022, his short film “FLY” won the Silver Award at the 9th Microfilm Production Support Scheme (Music) and was selected for prestigious festivals such as the 28th ifva Awards, MINIKINO FILM WEEK 8, and the GwangHwaMun International Short Film Festival. Recently, TO Chun-him was awarded at the International Film Camp 2024, organised by the Asian Film Awards Academy, with his short film Once upon a time there was a Mountain. The film had its world premiere at the 27th Far East Film Festival, and was subsequently selected for the 48th Asian American International Film Festival as well as the 48th Drama International Short Film Festival (DISFF) in the International Kids’ Film Competition section.
