In a city divided by a wall, two brothers living outside the affluent Zone struggle to save their ill mother. While Dino seeks The Zone Work Permit for her treatment, Joni leads a rebellion against the wall. Their diverging paths and Joni’s tragic fate push Dino to confront the harsh realities of their world and fight for justice.
Janice Angelica is an Indonesian filmmaker passionate about exploring themes such as social class and mental health. A graduate of Beijing Film Academy, she has directed and produced award-winning short films that have gained recognition at film festivals worldwide. Her short film "Lost Heartbeat" was selected for the Shanghai International Film Festival, and “Waves of Emotions” made it to Jogja NETPAC Asian Film Festival. Janice is also an alumna of the 2021 Indonesiana Script Development Workshop, won the 2022 Jakarta Film Week Producer's Lab, and participated in the 2023 Bucheon Goedam Campus.
