Every morning, hundreds of cattle are herded to the landfill. These cows treat the place like home; eating, napping, and mating there while staying alert to avoid the heavy machinery moving around the site. If they aren’t careful, they can lose its life, crushed by heavy equipment or buried under waste. This practice has been going on for years because owners don’t have to bother searching for grass, instead to rely on human waste to feed their livestock.

While some cows are lucky to have a barn to return to, others must spend the night at the landfill because their owners live far away. Either way, all of these trash-fed cows will eventually meet the same fate under the butcher’s knife.
