Reza is a Indonesian film director who was born in Jakarta on, July 1993. He graduated from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta. Over the past years, Reza consistently spotlights social class issues through his short films. As an filmmaker, the film has been accompanying him to understand the meaning of life, therefore most of his past films are based on his personal life stories. Pursuing a film career is a privilege for him to serve contemplative life messages behind his narrative. he was also the program director at the Jogja NETPAC Asian film festival. One of the biggest festivals in Indonesia.
His film, "Rest in Peace" 2018 has been a competition at the Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2019. His new short film "Dancing Colors" was selected to compete at Pardi di Domani, Locarno International Film Festival 2022 and won the award for best short film in Festival Film Indonesia 2022. Reza is now working on his first feature-length film.
