A Victorian painting of a pair of twins has been a prominent attraction for decades. But, when one twin mysteriously disappears from the artwork, the other is then forced to leave the comfort of their painting and journey through the gallery to find her.
Michelle Kham is a recent graduate of Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design and Media (ADM), where she specialized in Animation and Media Art and graduated with First Class Honours. Passionate about stories that highlight the quiet discomforts of human experience, her final-year film Clementine (2024) explores identity, change, and the journey towards self-acceptance after losing a part of oneself. Her work focuses on conveying storytelling through atmosphere, environment, and visual metaphors to create immersive and emotionally resonant visual experiences for audiences.
