A filmmaker from Bahia with a special interest in fantastic cinema, Lopes has directed short films such as "Modo Noturno" (2020) and "Claudio" (2022), which have been shown and won awards at dozens of film festivals in various countries, including the Brasília Festival of Brazilian Cinema, the Tiradentes Film Festival and Fantaspoa. As an editor, he has worked on films such as "Eleven Minutes" (2018) and "Solange Didn't Come Today" (2024). He is currently developing the scripts for the feature films "Menarca", "Tocaia" and "Massacre in Shangri-La".
