With a cardboard lion dance costume, Akmal and his three friends travel around Singkawang in search of a lion dance teacher. Amid arguments and frustration, they meet a teacher at an old temple. From him, they learn the meaning of friendship and teamwork. They then perform at a festival, not to win, but to bring their hearts together.
