DEADLINE
- All film submissions must complete the online submission form no later than 5 June 2026, 23:59 WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
- Any submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY
Feature or Short Films
- Completed motion pictures in 2024–2026.
- Feature/Short Film is not part (episode) nor extended (several episodes) package version of TV or Internet Broadcasting series.
Unusual Frame Ratio Presentation
- Vertical films: use DCP flat container for cinema screening.
- Horizontal films: use DCP scope container for cinema screening, or 16:9 container for digital online screening.
- Vertical film must fill vertical frame range with equal blank areas left and right.
- Horizontal film must fill horizontal frame range with equal blank areas top and bottom.
DEFINITION
Feature or Short Film
- Feature film: fiction, animation, or non-fiction exceeding 60 minutes including credits.
- Short film: fiction, animation, or non-fiction 25 minutes or less including credits.
Premiere Status
- World premiere: first public screening of the film.
- International premiere: first public screening outside its country of production.
- Asian premiere: first public screening in Asia.
- Indonesian premiere: first public screening in Indonesia.

AWARDS
- Direction Award – honorable awards for Indonesian feature films.
- Global Feature Award – honorable awards for International feature films.
- Global Short Award – honorable awards for short films.
- Global Animation Award – honorable awards for short animation.
- Jakarta Film Fund Award – honorable awards for the best film produced under the Jakarta Film Fund program.
SCREENINGS
- Jakarta Film Week will hold screenings simultaneously in cinemas and online (geo-blocked in Indonesia). Applicants can select online or offline screening options in the submission form.
- Entrant films must agree to additional screening if needed.
SUBMISSION FORM
- All submissions must complete the Online Film Submission Form.
- A password-protected online screener or preview link is required. Please ensure that the link is accessible until the end of October 2026.
- Films in any language other than English must have English subtitles.
COPYRIGHT INDEMNITY
- The entrant is responsible for all necessary copyright clearances for material used in their submitted works, and shall fully indemnify the festival from any damage resulting from copyright infringement lawsuits.
- Jakarta Film Week will cooperate with a local company as a local VOD screening partner based on the SVOD system for viewers.
