When two documentary filmmakers profile an eccentric tissue peddler, they grapple with their morbid curiosity when they find out that beneath her brittle charm lurks a disturbing little secret.
Natalie Sin is a filmmaker based in Singapore. Her first foray into narrative films was through the Art Department, having worked on Stranger Eyes (Yeo Siew Hua). She graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Sociology (2025). Sin hopes to develop a body of work reflecting sociological and anthropological thought more intensively over the next few years. She explores the concepts of dirt, cleanliness and purity alongside shame. Her directorial debut film, The 4PLY Clandestine System, was awarded the SCAPE Film Facilitation Programme and Mentorship 2024, developing her work with the guidance of Aiko Masubuchi (Happyend). She is also an alumna of the Objectifs Youth Photographer Mentorship Programme 2024.
