M. Raihan Halim’s career in television began after winning two Golden Pen Awards at the MDA: National Scriptwriting Competition in 2005 and 2007. He has written and directed television works featured in all four main channels in the country. Best known for his award-winning television dramas, his telemovies Yazid Wears Diapers garnered the Best Special Drama award in a local television award show, and Big Time In Little Street was nominated for the 2010 Asian Television Awards. His notable television works are Munah and Hirzi (2012) and Firasat (2014), which aired on Suria. In 2014, Raihan embarked on his feature film project, Banting, and received an overwhelming response during its commercial release in Singapore theaters. The film was also screened at the 34th Hawaii International Film Festival. In 2018, Raihan won the award for Best Original Script at the first Asian Academy Creative Awards for his pilot script of SR115.
