Dian Weys holds an MA (Film Studies) from the University of Cape Town. His short films "Accelerate" (2017), "Farmhouse" (2021), and "Bergie" (2022) have played at over seventy festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, Palm Springs, Tampere, and ZINEBI Bilbao. He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen.
