Bayu Prihantoro Filemon, a self-taught filmmaker and Asian Film Academy alumnus had his debut film, "On the Origin of Fear," premiere at the Venice International Film Festival in 2016, earning the Blue Angel for Best Short Film Award at the Art Film Fest Kosice in 2017. His recent work, "Vania on Lima Street," received the Best Short Film Award at the Singapore International Film Festival in 2022. He is in the process of developing his debut feature project, "The Songsmith."
