Shane David is a Filipino filmmaker who believes that films can inspire hope and social justice. She is an alumna of the University of the Philippines and ASEAN-RoK Film Leaders’ Incubator. Her short film “Muli na ka, Merlie,” won the iNDIEGENIUS grant from iAcademy and Netflix.
