Jakarta Film Week 2025 is Coming This October!

Jakarta Film Week is an annual film festival dedicated to expanding opportunities for film screenings, contributing to the growth of the film industry, and positioning Jakarta as the epicenter of Indonesia’s film and creative industries. The festival will return on 22–26 October 2025.

As part of this vision, Jakarta Film Week presents JFWNET–Industry Program. Through this platform, the festival creates meeting spaces that connect ideas with opportunities and emerging talents with professional and international networks. Programs such as Producers Lab, Pitching Forum, and the newly launched Talents Hub are designed to help film projects grow, find partners, open doors to collaboration and funding, and provide a vital space for emerging filmmakers to meet with industry professionals.

Jakarta Film Week is also participating in the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) 2025, where it can be found at booth E28. In addition, the JFWNET–Industry Program is sending three emerging producers—alumni of the Producers Lab 2024—to showcase their projects at Platform Busan 2025. They are Andreas B. Sihombing with Push Rank, Bella Nabila with To My Dearest, My Dear…, and Wildan Aji Gumelar with Resepsi Pertama Bapak. This delegation is made possible through a collaboration with Platform Busan.

Furthermore, Yulia Evina Bhara, Festival Board of Jakarta Film Week, will serve as a jury member for the main competition at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) 2025. A film she co-produced, The Fox King (2025), will hold its Asian Premiere in the program A Widow on Asian Cinema.
