Jakarta, September 3, 2026<\/b> \u2014 As it enters its sixth year, <\/span>Jakarta Film Week (JFW)<\/b> is introducing a new pre-festival initiative, <\/span>JFW360<\/b>, a program designed to explore different ways for audiences to engage with cinema beyond traditional film screenings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through JFW360, film becomes a meeting point for different forms of creativity and knowledge, connecting cinema with disciplines such as art, science, technology, communities, and other creative fields. The program will feature a combination of screenings and non-screening activities, creating opportunities for audiences to watch, discuss, and experience film in new contexts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The JFW360 series leading up to <\/span>Jakarta Film Week 2026<\/b> officially began with <\/span>JFW360: Cerdas Cermat Jilid 2<\/b>, a collaboration with <\/span>Kopikina<\/b> and <\/span>Cretivox<\/b>. Held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Kopikina Kemang, the event brought together audiences, media representatives, and communities for an interactive film-themed quiz and knowledge-sharing session.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>JFW360 is our way of bringing Jakarta Film Week into more screening spaces and public spaces. Through more exploratory collaborations, we want to create film-related experiences that can be enjoyed by a wider audience, while supporting Jakarta\u2019s vision as a City of Cinema,<\/b>\u201d said <\/span>Rina Damayanti, Festival Director of Jakarta Film Week 2026<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following Cerdas Cermat Jilid 2, JFW360 will continue throughout September and October 2026 through a series of collaborations across platforms and communities. In collaboration with <\/span>Vidio<\/b>, JFW360 will present <\/span>24 short films<\/b> that audiences can watch online through <\/span>Vidio.com<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program will also feature collaborations with the <\/span>Embassy of Peru in Indonesia<\/b> and <\/span>Jakarta International Investment, Tourism, Trade, and SME\u2019s Expo (JITEX)<\/b>. Further partnerships with media outlets and communities across Jakarta will also form part of the JFW360 program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Details on upcoming programs and schedules will be announced periodically through Jakarta Film Week\u2019s official social media channels and website.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the <\/span>JFW360<\/b> series at Kopikina, Jakarta Film Week also collaborated with media partners and film communities across Jakarta. On the occasion, JFW unveiled one of the film line-ups for Jakarta Film Week 2026, <\/span>Erupcja<\/i><\/b> (2026)<\/b>, directed by Pete Ohs and starring Charli XCX, Lena Gora, Jeremy Harris, and Will Madden. The film previously had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through the <\/span>JFW360<\/b> series, Jakarta Film Week 2026 invites a wider audience to experience cinema through different approaches, spaces, and formats. Discover the festival\u2019s diverse programs and join us in celebrating cinema in new and meaningful ways.<\/span><\/p>\n
