Entering its sixth year, Jakarta Film Week continues to create opportunities for emerging filmmakers to develop their projects, connect with industry professionals, and discover new pathways within the film industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFor us, Jakarta Film Week is not only about celebrating films, but also about creating a space for the people behind them to meet, exchange ideas, and grow together. Through JFWNET\u2014Industry Program, we want to give emerging filmmakers the opportunity to take their projects further and build new connections within the industry,\u201d said <\/span><b>Rina Damayanti, Festival Director of Jakarta Film Week<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Bringing Film Projects Closer to the Industry<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Jakarta Film Week Pitching Forum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provides a platform for filmmakers to present and further develop their film projects alongside industry professionals. Through mentoring and pitching sessions, participants have the opportunity to receive feedback, broaden their perspectives, and establish new professional connections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year, the <\/span><b>Jakarta Film Week Pitching Forum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is open to <\/span><b>feature-length fiction film projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the development or work-in-progress stage. Projects may come from various genres, including animation. Each project team must include an <\/span><b>Indonesian director and producer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, with both having experience in completing at least one short film.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, <\/span><b>Producers Lab<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> serves as a development platform for emerging producers and filmmakers to learn, exchange experiences, and expand their professional networks with industry practitioners. Together, these two programs form part of <\/span><b>JFWNET\u2014Industry Program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, creating greater opportunities for new talents to connect with the film industry ecosystem and further advance their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Creating Space for New Stories and Emerging Talents<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The journey of <\/span><b>JFWNET\u2014Industry Program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> does not end when the program concludes. Its alumni continue to bring their projects and experiences into various spaces across the film industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Producers Lab alumni <\/span><b>Fadhilla Ristianty<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Giovanni Rahmadeva<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> have advanced their professional journeys through international industry programs. Fadhilla participated in the <\/span><b>New Producers Room<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the <\/span><b>Short Film Corner, March\u00e9 du Film, Cannes Film Festival<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while Giovanni took part in the <\/span><b>European Film Market (EFM) Toolbox Programme<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the <\/span><b>Berlinale<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another notable achievement comes from Producers Lab alumni <\/span><b>Annisa Adjam<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Bagus Suitrawan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who served as <\/span><b>Co-Producer and Line Producer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, respectively, on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vaterland: A Bule Named Yanto<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
