Two standout projects at the showcase were the animated <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wayang<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> series <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desa Timun<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the e-sports game <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lokapala<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Desa Timun: Bridging Tradition and Modernity through Animation<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wayang<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> animation <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Desa Timun<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has successfully captivated audiences across generations. Didier Konings, a concept artist with Hollywood film experience who attended the event, expressed his admiration for these works and emphasized the importance of creativity in IP development. \u201cProjects with limited funding can be more challenging but allow for greater creative freedom,\u201d he noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ivan Chen also emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration in developing IP in Indonesia. \u201cIn Indonesia, creative sectors are still too compartmentalized. In fact, collaboration between games and film could be mutually beneficial.\u201d He cited Japan as an example, explaining, \u201cIn Japan, different platforms support one another.
