Acting Masterclass with Christine Hakim – Jakarta Film Week 2023

A Jakarta Film Week celebration of actress Christine Hakim’s five-decade journey in Indonesian cinema. To accompany her journey, Jakarta Film Week brought Christine Hakim together with new talents to share knowledge in an Acting Masterclass. This program is enlivened by a screening of two special films played by Christine Hakim, namely Tjoet Nja’ Dhien (1988) and Pasir Berbisik (2001).

Time : 10.00 – 18.00 WIB

Regulations for ‘Acting Masterclass with Christine Hakim’:

1. This program is limited for selected participants only through selection.
2. Participants are Indonesian actors/actresses who have been involved as main or supporting actors in short films, feature films or series films (at least 2 titles).
3. Participants speak Indonesian fluently.
4. Participants are willing to attend offline and take part in all ‘Acting Masterclass with Christine Hakim’ program on October 28, 2023, 10.00 – 18.00 WIB, without exception at their own expenses.
5. Participants are required to fill out the form provided by the committee and are willing to include their personal portfolio in the form.
6. Participants are required to send a self-introduction and acting video (in one video) with a maximum duration of 2 minutes, in .MP4 or .MOV format.
7. Participants can only register for 1 (one) person, and cannot be represented by other people.
8. Participants have watched the films Tjoet Nja’ Dhien and/or Pasir Berbisik which are part of the film screening program ‘Journey of Christine Hakim’. If not, participants are required to watch the film during Jakarta Film Week 2023 festival on the schedule determined by the committee (tickets are provided by the committee, 1 ticket for 1 selected participant).
9. The committee does not provide accommodation, including transportation compensation and pocket money.
10. All costs incurred for this activity are borne by each participant.
11. The committee has the right to disqualify participants who do not follow the terms and conditions that apply in the ‘Acting Masterclass with Christine Hakim’ program, and are absolute.

The ‘Acting Masterclass with Christine Hakim’ program activities are completely free of charge. The registration deadline is October 10, 2023 at 23:59 WIB.
