Screenwriting with Mmambatho Kau

Masterclass is a training program for professionals in the film industry with speakers experienced in the international film industry.

The influx of global and local OTT players has led to high demand for series productin. Therefore, te scriptwriting capacity for serial stories becomes extremely important. The first session of the Masterclass at the Jakarta Film Week will present senior scriptwriter Mmbatho Kau from Full Circle Lab who will train professional filmmakers to hone their skills in building the universe of stories and their contents. In a different Masterclass session, we also present Sahana Kamath who will discuss assembling content for OTT and how t manage it to be sold globally.

Mmabatho Kau
Mmabatho Kau is a producer, development executive and script consultant with over fifteen years experience in the Film and Television industry. She is an alumni of the Torino Script Lab and has worked as a script consultant for the Realness Screenwriter’s Residency (South Africa), BostNL (Netherlands Film Festival/IFFR), Full Circle Lab (Philippines) and the Dramatic Producer’s Lab (Ethiopia), Attagirl Lab (Australia), Canal+ Series Lab (Poland).
