Jakarta Film Week strikes back! After the successful inaugural edition last year, our beloved festival will return to light up silver screens in the capital. The main event will take place on 13-16 October 2022, with plans for roadshow and various public programs in the months leading to the festival. Our team is working hard to prepare for your next cinematic adventure.

This year’s theme: “Emerge”. Born during the height of the pandemic, Jakarta Film Week has been a witness to the struggles and shifts enforced by the global crisis. The pandemic still remains to this very day, but now we could see a ray of light emerging on the horizon. It’s the light of a new era coming, the next chapter in history that we seek to explore through curated films from all over the world and events that feature a diverse cast of industry guests and film communities.
