Film Festivals as Gateways: Maximizing Opportunities in Southeast Asia

The Southeast Asian film industry is a vibrant hub of creativity, with film festivals offering more than just screenings. These festivals provide opportunities for project development, networking, and capacity-building through incubator labs. The talks will explore how these festivals contribute to the growth of the SEA film ecosystem and how industry players can make the most of their participation.

This session is part of the series of the 2024 ASEAN Regional Workshop on Creative Economy (ARWCE), organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the ASEAN Secretariat to advance the film industry in the ASEAN region.
