Ying Liang is an independent filmmaker. He was awarded Best Director at the Locarno International Film Festival for his film When Night Falls, Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam for his film Condolences, and Special Jury Prize at Tokyo Filmex Film Festival for his film Taking Father Home. His newest film is A Family Tour.
