Ruth is a Catholic teenager who lives among Muslims. As a minority in the school, she has to adapt to the habits of her Muslim friends. She needs to go places to attend Catholic lessons because the school does not facilitate it. This condition leads to Ruth sometimes unintentionally performing the habits of the majority, even when she is with her family.
Tanzilal Azizie Rahim graduated from ISBI Bandung, who has been in the directing world since 2017. He worked on his first short film titled Samar together with Degradians Story. He also wrote the script and produced Cirebon Screen, an alternative film broadcasting community in Cirebon. Pray, Begin is his eighth work produced under the auspices of Degradians Studio.
