Fajar is currently finishing his films with IDN Pictures titled Srimulat, a biographical comedy film based on the legendary Indonesian comedy group, and Inang, a psychological thriller that marked his first horror film. Balada si Roy is an adaptation of a phenomenal coming-of-age novel from the 80s. All of his films have a socio-realistic view of Indonesian society today.
