Kamila Andini, a Jakarta-based filmmaker and mother, addresses social, gender, and environmental concerns through her unique storytelling. Her debut, The Mirror Never Lies (2011), explores the life of an Indonesian sea wanderer, while The Seen and Unseen (2017) delves into Balinese philosophy. Both films gained recognition at 50+ international festivals, winning 30 awards, including Berlinale's Grand Prix. Her third film, Yuni, premiered at TIFF 2021, winning the Platform Prize. Her fourth, Nana, competed at Berlinale 2022, earning Best Supporting Performance.
